This is an arrangement I did for my CW-216 Vocal Writing class taught by Professor Lee Abe. The song is called "Molasses", and it is originally by Hiatus Kaiyote. It is a 7-part A Cappella arrangement with a female lead and a voice percussion.
The recordings were recorded at CWP Production Suites and at home.

I am very honored to have this opportunity to work on this project for my class CW-311 Big Band Writing, and since this was my first time arranging for Big Bands, it definitely became a precious experience. I also got to record this in Studio 1 (Shames Family Scoring Stage) as a class project.

I originally brought an acoustic demo of this song (at that time called "Find Me, Find You") to my friend Heston Prasetyo, who graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2016, and we decided to work on this song together in the direction of Electronic Dance Music.
STVDIO is an EDM group that consists of two members: Heston Prasetyo & Abra Sumendap. Along with them, the three of us worked in details on the melody, lyrics, and harmony together, and we finally produced my first featured single on Spotify, "Find You".

I have known this band since my first year in Berklee, and I quickly became friends with the drummer, Zach, when we got into the study abroad program in the Valencia campus in 2015 Fall. Since I really like the style and the sound of this band, I decided to have them as my artist for my Live-to-2 Project! As a producer, I worked on the feel of the song with the band, the background vocals, and also some elements and ideas that we added in such as the whistles.

This is an advertisement score I composed for CW-333 Studio Writing and Production class taught by Professo Chrissy Tignor. All instruments are sequenced with MIDI except piano, bass, and drums, which were recorded live in Studio 2 (The Ark) of Berklee College of Music.
